The Butterfly Scales are a practical
tool for any gardener concerned about the wellbeing of
his winged companions. The scales are assembled of fine
brass rods. Due to their filigree construction, measurements
can only be taken in calm weather.
The long pointy needle carries a test tube at its rear
end, which always swivels into an upright position. Therein,
a blossom (preferably lilac) is to be placed in order
to attract the butterflies. The needle softly deflects
and announces the animal's weight.
