The Beehive-Hat allows beekeeping a certain mobility.
The Bees' friend experiences an intimacy with the animals otherwise
rarely enjoyed. Still, the hat is hardly suitable for longer
trips, due to its respectable size. In spite of the bees' excellent
sense of orientation, continuous movement of their dwelling
would probably confuse them and keep them from finding their
way home to the hive.
Instead, the Beehive-Hat invites to rest in the grass, in the
shadow of its broad rim, and to listen to the humming of the
bees flying into and out of the hat. |
