Unlike in professional horse racing, we cannot offer a central betting office. Still, we encourage you to bet with your friends.
The construction of the racing-track makes it impossible for many slugs to compete at once. This year's races will be one-to-one-races. Depending on how fast the slugs finish a race (if they complete it at all), there will be one or several rounds, possibly with different slugs or even snails. This means, there is almost only one way of betting. You bet on the winner. You determine the rules! For inspiration, see the Fixed Odds Betting Guide. In slug racing, however, it is also possible to place your money on the race ending in a tie. It is not unlikely that both slugs will not finish the race. In this case, the referee will end the race after a certain time period has elapsed and declare it a tie.
