The Private Cartographer's Hot-Air Balloon.

The day tripper uses this device to map his favourite places. A hot-air balloon lifts a large mirror over his head while he is walking and drawing maps. He is connected to the mirror by long leather straps. Their length can be adjusted as desired. The cartographer wears a cap that has a hole in its shade and a small mirror attached to it. Looking into the two mirrors, he is able to see himself from above while walking in the landscape.
