This Landscape-Armwrestling-device allows two opponents to fight over which landscape elements to display in a landscape painting. One person sits on each end of the table and pulls up one of the two levers belonging to the desired (or not desired) landscape element. When the two interconnected levers are pulled up, the armwrestling can begin.
Landscape elements are for instance a wolf, buffalo and horse, a pig farm, a monocultural wheat field, windmill and solar panel or a forest of beech trees.
All motifs are cut out of painted metal sheets. These are fastened to pipes moved by the levers, so they can be swivelled in and out of the gold frame. |
