The Portable Rat-Converter allows commonly
despised rats to blend in with more likable squirrels. It is
yet another laudable effort of man to beautify his natural surroundings.
Rats enter the converter through a special entrance. Inside,
bushy tails with hook-and-loop-fasteners lie ready for them.
The rats are invited to attach a tail to their fur and leave
the converter, seemingly turned into squirrels.
The device is part of a collaboration with Philip Simmons and
Kristen Rønnevik, who also worked on the theme of rats.
